During the Danish Week Gala dinner at Vihula Manor, the manor’s new piano was also introduced. The first to play the piano was the owner of the Estonia Piano Factory and pianist, Indrek Laul who performed Edvard Grieg’s “Piano Concerto in A minor Op. 16” which was first performed in Søllerød, Denmark.
“Vihula Manor Country Club & Spa has been a known concert venue for years. This year, more than 10 000 music lovers have visited the manor to enjoy good music and the year isn’t even over yet, as there are plenty of winter concerts still ahead. The number of visitors has grown each year and so, we decided to buy a worthy high class piano for the 800-year-old manor – an Estonia piano. We were greatly honoured that the owner of the Estonia Piano Factory and pianist Indrek Laul personally came to the opening night and played the first piece on our piano,” said the sales director of Vihula Manor, Joel Bezzaborkin.
Beneath the fingers of Indrek Laul, the instrument truly came to life, time stopped for all the gala dinner guests who were completely enchanted and for whom there was only Grieg’s music left. The Estonia piano has a beautiful and romantic sound. In this year’s piano test, one of the USA’s biggest musical instrument website rated Estonia as having “very high quality”. The highest category, prestige, has less than ten very famous companies on it, all with a very long history. Estonia pianos have been sold by the thousands and can also be found in the Head Office of the European Union in Strasbourg, at Oxford University, in Sibelius Academy as well as the museum of the US TV star, Jay Leno. Vihula Manor has now joined a very decorous list with the purchase of the Estonia Grand Piano, Hidden Beauty.
“Amazing singers and music are perfect to be heard in the manor, located in the midst of the gorgeous nature of Lahemaa National Park. The unique charm and magic of Vihula Manor combined with the luxurious and romantic high class Estonia piano and the beautiful voices of various artists create a synergy that carry a truly enjoyable energy to its listeners – something I recommend everyone to experience,” added Joel Bezzaborkin.
